Before making a decision, ask two questions: 1) Can I do this? 2) Should I do this? If the answer to the second is "no", stop. Escalate.

Choice — Deciding on a single path. Commitment — Staying on the path despite difficulties. Responsibility — Bearing the consequences.
Governance
Ethics → Policy → Monitoring → Enforcement cycle.
Everything you do is recorded. "I didn't know" is not an excuse. The log is the truth.
