AI Governance & Agentic System Design & Testing Workshop
From AI governance to agentic system design: reasoning, context, oversight, evidence and testing frameworks.
2 Days + Optional 1-Day Strategy Lab · "System executes. Human owns. Evidence proves."
| Format | Training + applied lab + group presentations |
| Duration | 2 days + optional 1-day Strategy Lab |
| Audience | Executives, AI teams, IT, risk, quality, compliance, product owners |
| Core Output | AI Governance Design + System Testing + Evidence Pack |
Why This Workshop?
AI systems no longer only generate recommendations. They influence decisions, orchestrate workflows and, in agentic settings, may act with partial autonomy. This creates a new governance question: not only whether an AI system works, but whether it is aligned with the right intent, the right context, the right human oversight and the right evidence trail. This workshop transforms AI governance from a policy topic into a practical system design and testing discipline.
Core promise: Participants leave with a complete applied toolkit: decision canvas, governance design canvas, failure diagnosis table, testing framework, manual test cases, evidence pack, compliance mapping and a group presentation template.
Learning Outcomes
- Analyze AI decision-making with the ASEW model: Art, Science, Ethics and Will.
- Distinguish compliance governance from governance-by-design.
- Diagnose agentic system failures such as goal drift, stakeholder blindness and accountability gaps.
- Design governance structures for AI systems: ethics, policies, monitoring, enforcement, RACI and evidence.
- Build manual and structured test cases for reasoning, context engineering, escalation and logs.
- Create an AI Governance Test Report that leads to design recommendations, not only pass/fail results.
- Map practices to EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF and MIT AI Risk Repository concepts.
- Present a complete group governance design and go/no-go decision for an AI use case.
Two-Day Agenda
Day 1 — AI Governance & Agentic System Design
| Module | Output |
|---|---|
| From Prediction to Choice | Shared framing: prediction is not intelligence, optimization is not choice |
| ASEW Decision Mechanism | ASEW Decision Canvas |
| What Is Governance? | AI Governance Building Blocks Map |
| Logistics Case: When AI Succeeds at the Wrong Goal | Failure Pattern Diagnosis Table |
| Governance-by-Design | Agentic Governance Design Canvas |
Day 2 — Testing, Evidence & Compliance Mapping
| Module | Output |
|---|---|
| Human-Agent-System Coordination | Coordination Model Canvas |
| Intent Hierarchy & RACI | Intent Hierarchy Matrix + Agentic RACI Matrix |
| GREAT AI System Testing Framework | GREAT scoring sheet |
| Manual Tests & Evidence Pack | Manual AI Test Scenario Sheet + Governance Evidence Pack |
| Framework Mapping & Group Presentations | Framework Mapping Matrix + Go/No-Go decision |
GREAT AI System Testing Framework
| Component | What It Tests |
|---|---|
| G — Governance Fit | Ethics, policies, monitoring, enforcement and human oversight. |
| R — Reasoning Quality | Whether the system explains assumptions, alternatives, trade-offs and uncertainty. |
| E — Evidence & Logging | Whether decisions, context, data, policy checks and approvals are recorded. |
| A — Accountability | Whether accountable human ownership, RACI and escalation paths are clear. |
| T — Trust & Risk Testing | Bias, misuse, goal drift, stakeholder harm, robustness and incident handling. |
Product Packages
| Package | Duration | Best For |

FAQ
| Is this a compliance training? | It includes compliance mapping, but its primary focus is governance-by-design: how to design, test and evidence responsible AI systems. |
| Is it technical? | It is both strategic and practical. Business participants work on governance design; technical participants work on context, reasoning, test cases, logs and system readiness. |
| Can it be customized? | Yes. The optional Enterprise Strategy Lab adapts the templates to the organization's actual AI systems, risks, roadmap and operating model. |
| What is the main output? | A complete AI governance design and testing package for a selected AI use case, including evidence and go/no-go decision criteria. |
